I am a functional anatomist and paleontologist trained in both clinical anatomy (PhD) and geology (PhD). I am broadly interested in advancing imaging techniques, experimentation, and modeling in extant reptiles and birds to best inform the fossil record across Archosauria. I am interested in questions related to form and function and adaptation to and from aquatic environments. I am currently focused on the functional anatomy of the hepatic piston in extant and extinct crocodylomorphs.
